TEHRAN -- Located in Kashmar, Aliabad Tower is consisted of an octagonal plan. The spherical upper part of the tower enjoys a conical outer shape, according to archeologists.

Dating back to the 8th century A.H., the tower is built of sand, brick and plaster and is beautifully decorated with tiles, plasterworks and bricks by the Iranian high talented architects.

As a national monument, the tower has been registered by the Khorasan Cultural Heritage Department.
